This afternoon was the highlight of my day. Mark took me to my appointments. Love spending time with him, even if it's a couple hours in a small Dr.'s office. The first appointment was to monitor the baby. The baby did a great job and was moving around well, no napping today. Then we had my appointment with the OB. He wanted to know how the trip home was and if there had been any changes since I had been home. There hasn't so it was a short visit. We did set up my glucose test, which I'm not very excited about. But it's better to know and take care of it than not.
I came home and rested on the couch. A couple of people from my ward came by to see how our family was doing. It was great to see them. I sure have missed my neighbors. Tonight Drew was charge of Family Home Evening. He taught us about the creation of the world. He did a great job!
I just caught up on all your posts. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I'm inspired by your good attitude. Our family prays for you and the baby every day. Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the prayers. Hope you are feeling well. I bet your kids are excited for that baby to hurt up and get here too. We had to ask Gabe to change his prayers, because he kept asking for the baby to come out soon. Now he prays for the baby's back.
DeleteI'm feeling fine, and we're all looking forward to seeing our baby too. Sweet Gabe! I'm glad you got that all worked out. Sounds like one of those moments you're glad God doesn't always answer prayers just the way we want him to. I'm crossing my fingers for you with the 3-hour glucose test! Let me know if you want to talk about it--I've had gestational diabetes with two of my other pregnancies.
