After yesterday we slept in.... for a very long time! I think we both needed the extra sleep. Mark told me last night that when he was here and went to church with my cousin, a man named Chris introduced himself. He told Mark that he didn't live too far away and that if we needed anything while we were out here to give him a call. So he said, " You are in need. Call him and ask him if he can help you get to the hospital and back." (Tomorrow we will be going to the hospital to do a stress test for the baby.) So this afternoon I called and talked to his wife, Annelise. She was very kind and said that she would love to help us get to and from the hospital tomorrow. We feel very blessed that we are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I feel like wherever you go in the world there is a support system. We are grateful for their willingness to help us out, even though they don't even know us. Annelise told me today, " Isn't that what the sisterhood of the Relief Society is all about." Yes, I think it is!
I was able to start our baby's blessing blanket today. Very excited to get going on some of the things that I brought to do while on bed rest. So while we were watching "The Time travelers wife" I planned it out and got started.
We talked to my cousin Deb about taking us to Target to get some new lounging bottoms for me. All of the bottoms that I brought with me would fit, if I could wear them lower on my hips. But because the incision is right there, it isn't working out. So that was on our list and food for the rest of the week. We are so grateful that Deb was able to come take us to the store! Target is a one stop place. That's not normal around here. The street behind us just has little stores. One for fruits and vegetables, another for meat, another is a bakery and then there is the pharmacy. So to be able to go to one store and get it all, was awesome!! Today was WAY better than yesterday!! Thank you for your prayers and love!
