The Baby is Here!

Joann's water broke last night. At labor and delivery She and the baby were stable. At about 6 am this morning the Baby's heart rate kept dropping. They tried several things to get it up, none of which worked. Joann's uterus pulled away and caused a rupture. They did emergency C-section to take the Baby out. Cole James Spencer was born and is 3 lbs 8 oz and 16" long. His incision on the back where he had surgery to repair looks good. He has moved his right foot, right leg and both hips. He is on oxygen right now that they keep reducing. They are closing up Joann. It is such a blessing that She was in the hospital last night other wise they say it would have been to late.
