I've gotten behind. So here's a little catch up!
We had a check up with our pediatrician for Cole 1 yr old check up. He thought that everything was looking good. He did have us do an iron test which looked low so we had a bigger test done. That test showed that he was at a good level.
We had a fun outing to the Aquarium. The kids had a great time at the play area. Cole loved having them take him down the slides.
The shark tank was one of my favorites.
We had another SB Clinic. This one was pretty fast. We were just being seen for Cole's head. The Neurosurgeon thought that we could still keep watching him closely. The SB Coordinator left like we needed to come back there in 6 weeks and have the PT look at him. Because if his body isn't progressing then that could be a sign that he has too much pressure in his brain. Mark and I don't feel like he isn't progress. This last month he has started to wave and clap. He is amazing in his little wheelchair. But we have to be careful. So we will go get him checked out and make sure we are not missing anything that might be a red flag.
He had a great time riding in the wagon from our car to the SB Clinic.
We were able to go to a SB activity. The kids had a great time. We met new friends and enjoyed visiting old friends. I am so glad for times like these that my big kids can meet friends that are like their little brother so they can have an idea of what Cole will be like when he gets older.
This is a really bad group picture. But here are all the SB kids.
Here is Cole with all of his girlfriends. They were all so excited to get their chance to hold Cole.
After bowling we went bowling the kids wanted to try the laser-tag. This bowling place had it all.
We had it all to ourselves for about an hour. They all want to do it again real soon.
For Taylor's birthday she wasn't sure if she wanted to have a girl party or a girl/boy party. So we did both. The night before her birthday we took a group of boys and girls paint balling. They were all a little nervous about getting hit. But after they played a round they said it was pretty fun.
My boys were so excited that they got to join in on the fun.
On Friday I took Tay our to lunch for her birthday, during school. And because she eats lunch with Jade, she came alone.
Gabe thinks he is sooo big now that he can pick up Cole and move him around. He was moving him from the stairs to the couch, over and over. The good things is I don't think Cole minded.
Cole has been working on being on his hands and knees. He isn't a real big fan. But hopefully it will start going on him.
The brothers enjoy Cole just a little too much!
Well it happened Taylor turned 16 years old!! So of course she got breakfast in bed!!
I think The kids really like this part of their birthdays.
For Tay's girl party we had my cousin Haley come and do gel toes. All the girls love it!
A great time was had by all. What a fun day celebrating Tay!
